Libbey Gibraltar Dusky Blue Water Goblet duratuff in great condition.
They measure 6.75″ high x 3.25″.

Marked on the bottom “Duratuff USA”. There are no chips or cracks or cloudiness to glass. These are heavy glasses and weight over one pound each.

Libbey introduced their Gibraltar Design in a catalog in 1978 – a pressed panel design in clear glass. They added the colored glasses within a year after that. The DuraTuff line, and Gibraltar pattern were originally designed for for commercial use and were sold exclusively to restaurants and cocktail bars.

They called this color “Juniper”. These goblets are in perfect condition – with no cracks or chips. They all have the letter L in a circle on the bottom – Libbey’s trademark.

A bit of Libbey and DuraTuff/Gibraltar History:

Libbey has its roots in East Cambridge, Massachusetts, home of the New England Glass Company which was founded in 1818. William L. Libbey took over the company in 1878 and renamed it the New England Glass Works, Wm. L. Libbey & Sons Props. In 1888, facing growing competition, Edward Drummond Libbey moved the company to Toledo, Ohio. The Northwest Ohio area offered abundant natural gas resources and access to large deposits of high quality sand. Toledo also had a network of railroad and steamship lines, making it an ideal location for the company. In 1892, the name was changed to The Libbey Glass Company.

DuraTuff – Libbey’s exclusive super strengthening process takes the abuse of the busiest bar and restaurant service and comes back for more. Gibraltar meets your need for high-durability glassware, having proved itself many times over in test after test. All things considered, there isn’t a close second choice in high-durability glassware.
